Richa Mishra Ji

As a Maha Upanishad, one of our holy scripts from ancient times unfolds….. the Sanskrit phrase….वसुधैवकुटुम्बकम् Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, "vasudhā", the earth; "ēva" = indeed is; and "kutumbakam", family. The original verse is contained in the Mahopanishad VI.71-73. Subsequent shloka go on to say that those who have no attachments go on to find the Brahman (the one supreme, universal Spirit that is the origin and support of the phenomenal universe). The context of this verse is to describe one of the attributes of an individual, who has attained the highest level of spiritual progress, and one who is capable of performing his worldly duties without attachment to material possessions.

Devi Richa Mishra Ji……, believes and practices the very essence of all that is encapsulate in the above shloka. For her the universe is her family and deeply associates with all that is around her, only to exalt everyone around her into a happier and fulfilling life.

Fondly addressed as Devi Richa Mishra Ji, she is for many a spiritual source and guiding light, like the very rays of the rising Sun touching the earth to “Awaken” every being with its gentle rays. She is an epitome of Grace and Melody flowing like the River Ganga from KashiKachhwa. Her words are like pearls from the ocean and one who associates with her will adorn the necklace of pearls, with words of wisdom, for happiness and peace for times to come.

Devi Richa Mishra Ji, Rich, both in the genes and culture, hails from Kachua of Varanasi, U.P.

Our Devi Richa Mishra Ji, is the Grand daughter of Dada Pandit Chandrashekhar Mishraji, Siddhapurush, spiritual master for many, a kathasagar of yesteryears, a great astrologer guiding the troubled, from the religious land of the Moochwale Hanuman Temple, the only Temple of the Jagruth Moustached Hanuman in the world.

Devi Richa Mishra Ji, is born to Mother, Suman Mishraji, a river of love & comfort, always welcoming and comforting, the example of Motherliness to all, AND Father, Shri Jageshwar Chandrashekhar Mishraji, a MA scholar from Allahabad University and musician of repute, recipient of several National Awards in the field of music, silent by nature & softspoken, speaks more with his radiant personality and musical eyes, a joy to associate and an effervescence of strength to all who can associate as he is true to “Wisdom is conspicuous through Modesty and Silence”.

Our Devi Richa Mishra Ji, …..does all her Seva to society, in her contributions, and in keeping her genetic background, both her parents are completely supportive and involved in this endeavour of social responsibility. Her sense of responsibility is evident in the presence of her parents in all her seva work. Like William Shakespear said ”Virtue and genuine graces in themselves speak what no words can utter”.

Devi Richa Mishra Ji believes that richness is evaluated with virtues and not with money, as quoted by the Buddhist educator and philosophist , Daisaku Ikeda, “Genuine Happiness can only be achieved when we transform our way of life from the unthinking pursuit of pleasure to one committed to enriching our inner lives, when we focus on Being More rather than Having More”

Devi Richa Mishra Ji believes that Mankind is one religion, and all religious practices from all religions need to be respected. Like the great Dalai Lama says, “The purpose of religion is to control oneself and not to criticize others”. She believes Tolerance is the most important teaching in all religions across the world. Our Mugdha Devi Richa Mishra Ji is a Sanskrit scholar from Kashi Sanskrit Vidyapeeth. She from her childhood was drawn to the spiritual world after seeing and experiencing the inequalities of society and has taken an oath to help and uplift the less fortunate of the society using the tools of spirituality from our ancient scriptures. She worships all the Hindu gods, but is awed by strong Lord Rama, who is her Ishtadevatha. She says Shri Rama, has all the virtues that are needed for a fulfilling life of Self and Service. Lord Rama for her means, the path he trod, the ideal he held and the ordinance he laid down. These she says are Eternal and Timeless. Like Swami Tejomayandi of Chinmaya mission says, “ A Narrow vision is divisive, a broad vision is expansive. But a divine vision is All-Inclusive”. Mugdha Devi Richa Mishra Ji feels Rama is the greatest source of solution to one and all.

She runs a Charitable School for the economically challanged children , as she feels Education is the most important foundation for upliftment of society, like , Mahatma Gandhi says, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”

She has by choice dedicated her life to upliftment of society with the tools of spirituality. She travels to all parts of the continent to reach the coded messages of our holy scriptures to one and all in a dialect which is understood by the people from all walks of life, the attendance to her katha and pravachan ranges from children through very old age, economically less fortunate to economically well settled families, spiritually ignorant or innocent to spiritually interested or enlightened, and her ever sweet voice flows with such power that all the people irrespective of their individual personas get to align and enjoy in unison the path to learning the great but simple solutions to life’s everyday problems. The truth is that anyone who associates, will definitely go back with enlightenment arising out of her spiritual brilliance. She is an ardent lover of classical music and when she talks and sings, true to her being born to the bank of river Ganga, her voice flows like the very Ganga in melody with sweetness, which only the fortunate listeners receive like the Theerth, holy waters, and feels like Amruth the divine water that purifies the mind and the soul.

Devi Richa Mishra Ji was born and grew up in an environment where Shri Ram Katha, Shri Hanuman Katha, The Bhagwad Katha and many more pravachans were aligned to every breath of life. She has developed proficiency and command over katha & pravachans which is very evident and also can successfully touch the Mind, Heart, & Souls of all those who listen and is efficient in making a difference in their lives. Adi Shankaracharya said…From a clear knowledge of the Bhagavad-gita all the goals of human existence become fulfilled. Bhagavad-gita is the manifest quintessence of all the teachings of the Vedic scriptures.

Devi Richa Mishra Ji wishes to reach out to the world across the borders of language, culture, & religions to reach the messages from our scriptures which are secrets leading to peace &fulfilment.

The plan on the anvil is to start Seva centres in all parts of the world to serve, educate & align stressed living to attain peace, prosperity and tranquillity. From the holy scripture of Bhagawat Gita….“The Ignorant work for their own profit and the wise work for the welfare of the world without thought for themselves”……This is the goal of our Devi Richa Mishra Ji…This is the celebration of life for her.

"The world is a family"
अयंबन्धुरयंनेतिगणनालघुचेतसाम्।

One is a relative, the other stranger,
say the small minded.
The entire world is a family,
live the magnanimous.
Be detached,
be magnanimous,
lift up your mind, enjoy
the fruit of Brahmanic freedom.
